Summer Update.. It's been a while!
Hello, cupcake people!!
Its been a while since I updated this blog, so here's some exciting things that have happened this summer:
- The Sabrina's Cupcakes Facebook Page has reached over 100 likes!!
-As you all know, I raise money for the American Heart Association by selling cupcakes, so I've been doing lots of baking for friends and such.
-Social media is a powerful thing. One day I was watching a 'Draw My Life' video by one of my favorite youtubers and makeup gurus, Cherry Dollface. She is a gorgeous pinup model who has had some heart troubles of her own. I decided to message her to have her read about Ellie (If you aren't familiar with her story, check out here). And the coolest comes next... Not only did she acknowledge it, but she replied and donated!! Cherry is a real sweetheart and everyone should check out her channel!
-After pulling a string or two, I got the chance to do a presentation about Congenital Heart Defects at each of the Valley Staffing offices. They were not only kind enough to give me their Dress-Down for Charity money (If employees want to wear jeans on Friday, they throw a dollar into a jar, then later donate it,) BUT they also gave me a company donation, which set me far past my goal for the walk this year!!!

Peace, Love, & Cupcakes
Hello everyone! Some exciting news: the writer of the awesome book Peace, Love & Cupcakes: The Cupcake Club liked the Sabrina's Cupcakes page on Facebook!!! You should go like her page, I love being inspired by her posts :)
In other news, I'm still working on my business project. I'm really enjoying myself with it, I'm learning a lot about how to run a business. I need to find a real location thats available so I get an idea on how much everything will really cost, it makes me a little nervous!! But maybe someday I'll actually be able to use this plan to open a shop. ( Grand Avenue, here I come!!) ;)
